how do u hit the ball in the pool game

all depends on what you want the cue ball to do!
- if you want it continue to roll a bit after it hits the other ball then you hit it closer to the top.
- if you want it to come to a stop after it hits the other ball then you hit it towards the bottom.
- and there are times when you want it to go around another ball to get to the one you really want to hit and that is when you hit it on either side
